Always Under Construction

After my wife and I returned to Japan, I spent a couple of years teaching English to put food on the table while I re-learned Japanese and looked for work with computers. I used textbooks in my classes, to avoid killing myself with overwork, but I found I preferred borrowing from my students incidental conversations for lesson material. I also wrote some examples from scratch, attempting to focus on specific principles or vocabulary words or phrases that students had indicated a need for help with. The pages linked below are selections from the conversation examples I wrote.
