このジャケット、コレとカーディガンのどアップともう一枚その中間のものがあるらしく「私は見た」という報告も入っていますが僕は未だに見たことありません。でも、とあるカタログにはちゃんと載っています。で、内容はもう最高。全曲インストで全てが短く、すぐに終わってしまうはかないアルバムです．．．ところで"Songs for William S. Harvey"の"William S. Harvey"とは誰か？そうそれはMC5のファーストとLoveのサードアルバムの裏ジャケットに"Photograph by William S. Harvey"と書いてあるのを発見しました。

Doorsを聴いたあとにコレ聴くとこんがらがってしまうほどオルガンが素晴らしい。特に"Declaration"なんかDoorsそのもの。何と言ってもプロデューサーが違います。できればMayo Thompson様に全部やってほしかった。全曲最高。

まずコレ、ジャケットが最高ですね。内容も豪華ゲストで有終の美を飾っています。ブートレグのテープには"I Can't Make Love to You Anymore"が"Poem of The River"あたりの曲と一緒に演奏されているので、けっこうこのアルバム以前の曲みたいです。

噂だけが先行していましたが、遂に！との思いでさっさと家に帰ってレコードに針を落としすと同時に、がっくりと肩を落とした人もいるかもしれないQueenと化してしまったこのバンドは一体．．．でも諦めずに何度も何度も「あのLawrenceが裏切るわけがない！」と、わらをもすがる気分で一生懸命聞き続けた熱心な方々を救うような「ロックになってしまったけど」素晴らしい復活。"The Osmonds"の歌詞にはアイルランドのIRAの爆撃によって死んでしまった人についての一節があり、これを聴いたアイルランドの友達は感動しつつも悲しくなってしまったらしいです。そしてこの曲を歌うLawrenceのビデオをBMX/Duglasに見せてもらいましたが、その姿は．．．ああ、何ということに．．．棒立ちで一歩も動かずまるで日本のXXXXのような（言いたくもない）姿でひたすら唄い続けるのでありました。みたら皆さん絶対卒倒します。
