未だにRed Crayoraを名乗り変態の限りを尽くし続ける男Mayo Thompsonの１９７０年リリースのサイケなフォークポップの名作。なぜGlassレーベルから出ているかは知る由もありませんが、とにかくこのアルバムも変態かと思いきや素晴らしいひねくれの美学が爆発しております。ちなみにこの人天才プロデューサーです。Felt/Poem of the River, Primal Scream/Sonic Flower Groove, Raincoats/1stみ〜んなこの人のおかげ。他にまだありますか？あったらご一報下さい。

オリジナルアルバム４枚同時にＣＤ化された時発見した瞬間一気に全部買ってしまいました。とにかくＬＰもＣＤも手に入るものは全て買いあさりました。そう僕は大ファン。特にファーストとこのセカンドはむちゃくちゃ好き。これサイケの見本。このＬＰには入っていないＣＤのみの"Tomorrow"のバージョン違いのオルガンにはぶったまげました。"Sit with The Guru"なんか永遠の名曲。

６０年代アメリカの無名サイケ又はパンクバンドのコンピレーション第１１弾。できればこのシリーズ全部集めたいところですけど今現在３枚しかありません。誰かお知りの方お便り下さい。さて、このＬＰの聴きどころは何と言ってもThe Rationalsの３曲に尽きます。適度なサイケ度と激しさが相まってすでに完璧。The Outcastsという全然知らないバンドはまるでMonochrome Setのご先祖様。Thomas A. Edison Electric Bandというこれまたインチキ臭いこの野郎もヒゲおやじ的な声を駆使し高度なＢ級技で攻めます。The Pack/Harlem ShuffleこれはStonesもやってますね。The Zoo/Where Have All The Good Time Goneそうそう、これはKinksの曲。Question Mark and Mysterians/Do Something to Meこれは伝説の一発屋ではありませんか。と言うわけでかなり聴かせますこのアルバム。
